KNOW-HOW GROUP join hands with the Hydropower 8th Bureau to construct Sichuan-Tibet Railway Project

July 21, 2022, Know-How Group joined hands with the Hydropower 8th Bureau for Sichuan-Tibet Railway sand & gravel Project, and held the commencement ribbon-cutting ceremony of Modova sand and gravel Project and delivery pure electric wide-body mining vehicle on the  4,100 meters altitude snowy plateau. This activity was strongly supported by the leaders of China Railway No.2 Bureau Sichuan Tibet Railway project department , the China Railway 3rd Bureau ,China Railway 8th Bureau, China Railway 20th Bureau, the China Railway Sichuan Tibet Railway Second Survey and Design Institute,the Sichuan Tibet Railway Hydropower 5th Bureau, the Hydropowe 8th Bureau Green Building Materials Co., LTD., the Chaya County Forestry and Grassland Bureau and the Wangka Township government.

The Sichuan-Tibet Railway construction is necessary to promote ethnic unity,safeguard national unity, and consolidate stability in the border areas; it is necessary to promote Tibet economic and social development;and it is a major measure to implement the CPC Central Committee's strategy for governing Tibet. As the second "Heaven road" on the snowy plateau and the most complex topographic and geological project in the world railway construction history,Sichuan-Tibet Railway also shoulders China three generations railway builders dream. Railway construction act a supporting role in enhancing ecological protection, preventing soil erosion, implementing road greening and other supporting improvements.

Mr. Xing Shaohui, president of Know-How Group, mentioned in his speech that "This sand and gravel project undertakes a national-level project, which mainly guarantees the approximately 55 kilometers sand and gravel supplying in the Chuan-Tibet Railway Chaya section. It is a great responsibility.it is much honored to participate in the project for Know-How Construction.

The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is characterized by low temperature, large temperature difference between day and night, low air pressure, and thin oxygen.it is difficult to restore its unique natural ecology if destroyed. However,due to their low thermal efficiency and increased carbon dioxide emissions, the traditional oil-fired mining vehicles are prone to secondary damage for the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau fragile ecological environment.To this end, in order to save fuel cost, improve the efficiency of transportation equipment, reduce waste emissions and fulfill the Sichuan Tibet Railway Hydropower 8th Bureau project department requirements,Know-How Group organized R&D, engineering and technical personnel to deeply investigate Sichuan Tibet Railway stone yard transportation situation, gathered the superior industry resources, and tailor-made the pure electric wide-body mining dump truck NKE90C (Plateau version) to meet the working condition requirements. In July, the customized pure electric mine car was successfully delivered to Sichuan-Tibet Railway sand and stone yard, and the production went smoothly.

In the car delivery ceremony, Mr. Wang Bo,the the Hydropower 8th Bureau Sichuan Tibet Railway project manager mentioned, "As nation is attach more and more importance to the mine construction ecological protection, green mining area construction is the high-sand and stone industry quality development main trend. The new energy mine car is noiseless, low energy consumption,zero pollution, meets the green,energy saving and environmental protection operation requirements,and truly achieves zero emission and zero pollution. It can also reduce production costs and reduce unnecessary resources waste. In order to implement high efficiency,clean energy and low-carbon green producing concept,and coordinated mine resources development & utilization with the ecological environment protection, guard China the "last pure land". Under local government support ,by the strong alliance that the Hydropower 8th Bureau and Know-How Group,Moduova sand and stone farm promotes and try out new energy mining dump truck which is the first application in the Sichuan-Tibet Railway construction, and will certainly become a Sichuan-Tibet railway construction beautiful style.

Pu Dong,the secretary of China Railway Second Institute Chuanhua-Tibet Railway Survey and Design Headquarters Changdu Branch,also pointed out clearly that "new energy mining vehicle is the future mine construction trend.Know-How Group and the Hydropower 8th Bureau jointly promote the new energy mining truck operation  in Chuanhua-Tibet project,which is a vivid implementation for the environmental protection work specific requirements in the 714 Vice Premier Han Zheng Chuanhua-Tibet Railway investigation speech. It is the effective implementation for the high efficiency, clean and low-carbon green concept, is perfect practice for the  five green project construction. At present, the Sichuan-Tibet Railway project is in full swing. Know-How Group new energy mine truck is like a green long dragon on the Sichuan-Tibet line, building a green transportation corridor."

At the event site, Mr. Li Hui, Party Secretary and General Manager of the Eighth Bureau of Hydropower Green Building Materials Co., LTD., Mr. Xing Shaohui, President of Know-How Group, as well as leaders and guests witnessed, Mr. Guo Wengang, general manager of the marketing center of Know-How Group, will hand over the key to open the door of cooperation to Mr. Wang Bo, manager of the sand project department of the Sichuan Railway of the Eighth Bureau of Green Building Materials Co., LTD., which also represents the official start of a project of the Sichuan Railway.
